At the heart of the unit is a 103° high-performance removable reflector, engineered with an uncoated, highly reflective surface to maximise light spread and intensity across your enclosure. This design ensures exceptional light distribution—some of the best in its class.

Reptile Systems UV lamps are carefully developed to replicate the spectrum of natural sunlight, delivering balanced levels of UVA and UVB while enhancing the natural colours of your reptile. Adequate UVB exposure is crucial for reptiles, enabling them to synthesize vitamin D3 and effectively absorb calcium from their diet—helping to prevent metabolic bone disease.

Using the Ferguson Zone model, this unit is tailored for species that fall within Zone 3 UV requirements—moderate exposure levels for shade-dwellers and occasional baskers. Simply refer to the Ferguson Zone chart on our packaging to find your species and ensure correct UV placement and output.

The unit includes detailed basking distance guidelines, helping you create an appropriate photogradient inside your enclosure. For optimal ocular health, mount the lamp at least 30cm above basking areas. Minimum safe distances are clearly indicated to ensure responsible use.
