Designed to cling directly to filter media, this fast-acting gel delivers millions of nitrifying bacteria precisely where they’re needed—kickstarting the nitrogen cycle and enabling faster, safer fish introduction.

By accelerating the breakdown of harmful ammonia and nitrite, PURE+ Filter Start Gel helps reduce fish stress and improves overall water quality from the outset. Ideal for freshwater and marine aquariums up to 2,500 litres.

How to Use

• Shake well to distribute bacteria evenly.
• Apply directly to filter media—up to 125ml per application.
• Repeat after 14 days until the bottle is empty.
• Turn off UV steriliser for 12 hours after dosing.
• For best results, ensure adequate oxygenation via air pump and diffuser.
• Always monitor ammonia and nitrite levels before introducing fish.

Note: PURE+ Filter Start Gel is not intended to treat green water. Use a UV steriliser to address algae blooms.
