How It Works

When added to your pond’s biological filtration system—especially the moving bed chamber in filters like the Nexus—the Pure Pond balls integrate with filter media such as K1 or K+Media. They move and agitate within the filter, slowly releasing bacteria that consume ammonia, nitrite, and organic waste. This supports a stable nitrogen cycle and reduces biological waste buildup.

The natural enzymes in the gel balls also help to break down sludge and improve overall water clarity, resulting in a cleaner, healthier pond environment.

Application & Dosage

Add Pure Pond directly into the biological section of your filter. For best results, use a filter bag or net to contain the balls.

• 500ml treats ponds up to 10,000 litres
• 1 litre treats ponds up to 20,000 litres
• 2 litre treats ponds up to 40,000 litres

Apply monthly during the pond season for best results.

Pure Pond is not intended to clear green water caused by algae. To treat green water, use in conjunction with a UV Clarifier.
